Still at it with another 2 jetbikes and some stormtrooper backup!  Really loving the Vallejo metallics, their shining silver is almost chrome, and it goes on super smooth.

Made a while bunch of progress on the Hydra, should be done shortly. Also got my washes in the mail and attempted some heat discoloration, but like an idiot packed them away before remembering to take photos.

Yes. Prime black, spray whole model with Vallejo Game Air Bright Bronze, then AP Strong Tone 'filter'. I say filter because I just put enough on to cover the model, not enough to pool significantly. Edit: VGA Bright Bronze really impressed me.

Hey, so I thought the whole point of AoS was that it was a skirmish game. Why on earth would you need 120 bloodblooders? Or are you doing commission work?

It was never a skirmish game per se, but used significantly fewer models than WFB did. That being said, GW (of course) ramped things up and started applying bonuses to units that had reached a certain threshold of models (20, 40, 60, etc.) It's unfortunately (in my opinion) getting to the point where a lot of armies now need movement trays to reasonably get units across the table in a game that did away with the need for movement trays. I'm honestly not sure if I want to blame GW or the community on this one - GW has been very receptive to feedback, and I have a feeling that some of the guys who came over from WFB missed pushing gigantic units around.

Finished my first Infinity miniature! Despite the smaller scale than GW, the details are super crisp and this was a ton of fun to paint. My biggest issue was that the arms didn't quite work and so gluing them on after painting was a nightmare and resulted in some damage to painted areas, so I'm painting these guys fully assembled from here on out. The whole red veil box will look really cool once fully painted because these guys have so much individual character.
