This irked me about the comic and it irks me now: I get that mercy for Negan is a symbol of the war really being over and it's time for the new world to begin on a foundation of peace instead of wrath, but how is no one suggesting a legit Trial for Negan? Make him stand in front of everyone and pay an agreed upon fair restitution instead of just locking him away somewhere at Rick's behest. I mean without a legal system you're still just a couple dozen jerks squatting in abandoned houses.

So many moments where people turn around to be surprised to see a new group of people. And how did Rick get cheap shotted by Negan, who he saw run behind the tree right in front of them. How quickly Rick goes from kill everyone to mercy. And Eugene only thought about sabotaging the ammo after Gabriel tried to? So many dumb things. FTWD: Why does she always interview people facing the sun? Why is she shooting 4:3? They should’ve just used this Morgan stuff for TWD. Lots of teleporting in the new show too

I have a suspicion this FTWD episode was done by the main TWD team, because all around this was a huge step down from the strengths of FTWD season 3. It had all the bad choices of TWD neatly tied up. So maybe episode 2 will use the actual FTWD team and have at least a chance of redemption.
