On Gordon Murray's interview program with Sky he talked about when they were first testing the high speed refueling rigs and someone installed the breather pipe inside the car fuel tank wrong and they hooked up the refuel hoses and the car basically exploded and aerosolized 20 gallons of gas or something 50 feet up into the air. And they were all in t-shirts and shorts with people smoking nearby.

I may have used an air compressor to empty a gas tank once, never had such a "Oh I really hosed up here" moment in my life as that.

Nah go ahead and get a 916 or 996, if you're gonna destroy your knees back neck and arms and spend 13 hours checking the valve clearance then you might as well do it at a higher top speed

Despite adding halos and turbo motors, somehow F1 cars still look and sound better than indycars.

I prefer F1 cars but I think the indycars are pretty cool too, and honestly Indycar has way better liveries than the super boring generic flat-color F1 liveries we have. MotoGP has the best liveries lets be real.

Or as Gigi told me once, "It's like looking at an F1 render before all the aerobits load in". I'm not a fan of the endless aero, but that's my opinion. As for the engine sound, only engine I've ever gotten off to is the 5.5L in the Corvette C7.R. A nice, cam-in-block, v8 motor.
