poo poo, this sucks. On the other hand, the guy lead about the best life he possibly could for a VERY long time, which considering the poo poo he went through in his youth is nothing short of a miracle. By all accounts he was just a class act all the way, and I'm glad he and WWE made up in the last few years if only to guarantee that they'll pay tribute to the guy who basically built the foundation of their success.

I love the story about Bruno shipping one his Cadillacs over to Japan for Giant Baba, since he had a hard time fitting into most Japanese cars of the time. Baba used it until he passed away. And of course he came off as the coolest, nicest dude ever whenever he was on WOR.

Yeah I don't know if I've ever heard a bad word said about Bruno personally. Everything I've heard has said he was one of the nicest people you could hope to meet.

One of my favorite wrestling memories ever was going to Raw in 2013 and getting to sing Happy Birthday to Bruno with the rest of Pittsburgh. In a city that has a ton of sports icons including Roberto Clemente, the 70s Steelers, and Mario Lemieux it shows Bruno's impact that his name was always mentioned right alongside them. Wrestling has many icons but Bruno is one of the few who was a great human being as well. RIP Bruno. Absolute legend. https://twitter.com/davemeltzerWON/status/986631594122203136 https://twitter.com/VinceMcMahon/status/986638590963830784 https://twitter.com/courtbauer/status/986625575090614272 https://twitter.com/TheFranchiseSD/status/986621611565572097 Everyone is sharing their thoughts. Here's Bruno vs Giant Baba from '67 (note this is a download so don't try it on mobile). Not much footage of Bruno in his prime still exists: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?3qmkf4lhv7xanoa The pacing is very deliberate because of the length, and the moves are about as simple as it gets, but I think this works very well as a clash of the titans.

poo poo. The first Bruno match I ever saw was a two out of three falls match with Baba from like 1967. By today's standards they did nothing, but the match was so, so good.

Probably the finest human being to ever really succeed in legendary fashion in the business. So many all-time greats are dirtbags, not Bruno.

I was at a Ring of Honor show that he came out and did a little in-ring promo at, I think it was the first and only time my NY/NJ in the 1960s raised father approached having an interest in what happened at a wrestling show in my lifetime.

Let us all remember his incredible cardio. Dude was 80 years old when he inducted Larry Zbyszko into the HOF and the dude never took a breath when telling stories about him. Bruno was a real rear end dude. They don’t make people like him anymore.

A little while back Jericho asked Bruno to do his podcast, Bruno agreed but insisted that they do it over dinner. So the entire thing (which is great) is Bruno and Jericho in a nice local restaurant eating food and just having a chat about his life and the wrestling business
