I don't know about you guys, but I'm still expecting them to nerf the loot on Savage before it hits even the regular test servers. It just doesn't make for a very interesting early and mid game when everyone has an AR and armor 5 seconds after landing.

Part of the point of the smaller map seems to be to skip some of that early/mid game, though. Or at least accelerate it.

Get the hell right out of here I'm pretty happy to know that I can land Training or Swamp Temple or any of the Bootcamps or any high-density area and within 2-3 rooms I should at the very least have some sort of armor and gun, even if it's just a shotgun or SMG. Contrast with school/Pecado casino or stadium/Hacienda/Mil base barracks and I can go through 5-6 rooms and have a really cool Micro Uzi stock and trench coat but the other guy got lucky and found a SCAR and now I'm dead. Sure it's still frustrating when that guy gets a lvl 3 vest and an AKM, but at least I have a fighting chance.

Grenade / Molly / Smoke / Stun - Spawn 4x No armor/meds. Tiny city circles. I have no idea if this would be fun or not but constantly chucking all types of nades and trying to melee sounds fun. If everyone starts with an M4 it kinda makes finding an M4 not very special feeling. The RNG of the items is one of the key things that sets BR's apart from other games and, in my opinion, makes them addicting and fun to play.

I really hope they keep the loot on savage how it is because its great practice. I pretty much get an m416 and kar98 every game. I just land hot, grab a rifle, and hunt down the other people nearby.

War mode is a nice change of pace that lends itself to shorter game sessions and has the very important benefit of letting people actually practice their shooting.
