While I love the appearance of the pursuers, but I can't help but feel there's a weird... lack of movement? Like it's as if they just sort of manifested there I think it's mostly Hrotomos breaking the illusion for me, maybe if he was facing towards the reader like the ones riding him it'd be better :S that's just a personal nitpick tho e: Have we seen that spearbun in the upper right of the middle panel before?

Which may have been a deliberate stylistic choice because showing action would necessarily complicate clearly depicting each of the fighters. I think when it's action time, it'll get good. Our man operant can do some hella cool fight sequences, they are always so detailed

I remember Izetta getting a pretty solid ‘meh’ reaction, which is surprising for a gay WWII romance about a witch whose power is guns (and bombs, and swords). It just didn’t quite have the execution to make it pop.
