Kayla Harrison (Gold medal in Judo at London 2012 and Rio 2016) is making her MMA debut with PFL on June 21. She competed at 78kg (172lbs) in Judo, and is expected to compete at 145lbs in MMA. After having seen a roidgolem vs a grandma, a literal child knock out an adult, literal children in Chenchnya fighting and KOing each other, "team" MMA in i'm assuming the Ukraine, fights involving using hand mounted tasers, and Jason Miller - the idea of Chael fighting a large man is quaint

While I don't think fat Rampage has ever been better than MMMSRE, Chael absolutely has been busting his rear end getting ready for these fights. I'm still shocked that fight turned out the way it did. No one expected Chael to dance around and box up Rampage.

And heavyweight Rampage is no less horsed up and no less fat than Bellator Mir. Sonnen, with a good dose of EPO in him, might actually be able to fight to survive a rough round 1 and then outwork a witness-the-fitness Mir in rounds 2 and 3 for a hilarious long shot upset 29-28 decision victory. Considering that would almost necessarily follow Mir doing something that makes Fedor look ridicuous, that bracket would be the best of all possible worlds. Unfortunately I can't see any path to victory for Sonnen against Bader or Mitrione.

If chael wins it will throw in to sharp relief just how insanely lovely and bad Bellator is causing the company to fold after investors withdraw in disgust forcing Rory back into the UFC to save us from that guy that refuses to fight but won't go away (woodley, not caraway).

Chael could almost certainly get in on Mir and Fedor to take them down, but given Chael's historic weakness with sub defense from the top even aging demonstrably-worse-at-fighting-than-Kyle-Kingsbu-Kingsbury Fedor can probably still armbar him from the bottom and Mir can do whatever he wants, really.
