maybe it's just that I'm bad and the people I'm playing against are also terrible, but Vi feels really good after her changes in 8.8. the CD reductions on Q and her W make the first clear much faster and you get to dash punch a couple times with the first gank.

Vi's been a good solo queue pick even before her buffs. I think people have traditionally disliked playing her because she's pretty one-dimensional and a bit stat checky (which makes her feel awful to play from behind), but Super Metroid took her to Masters+ on multiple accounts several seasons in a row.

Do you press Q with your ring finger or your pinkie? On the one hand, pinkie lets you hover over all your spells with your hand. On the other, pinkie means you have to reposition to use ctrl for skill upgrades. Also, pinkie is gross.

I agree, Vi feels a lot better with the cooldown reduction to q and e and passive making her feel a lot smoother. I'm not so sure it'll get her back into toplane all things considered but she might be a surprise pick to screw with expectations up there, she does nastier things in a straight 1v1 then ever before.
