Glad to draw Roma, I think it's the most likely matchup to send us through to the final, but I'm disappointed UEFA made sure at least one of Real or Bayern would be there

I hoped we would get Real, actually, as I believe there’s a better chance of beating them over two legs than in a potential final. However, I’m not a complaineur.

Didn’t Roma start selling tickets for their game against Liverpool a couple of hours ahead of the official draw? Pretty sure I read that somewhere earlier today.

The ticket people not only got the opponent right, but also who plays the home game first and the date (semifinals are played on separate days), they had an 8% chance to get it right. Definitely not suspicious at all.

I'm conflicted because on one hand Roma would seem the most beatable of the three possible opponents but on the other they just embarrassed arguably the best team in the world

Should be tasty regardless

Sevilla bring out the worst in their opponents. I think it’s a mix of being good, but in a stealthy way that encourages complacency.

Bayern will step it up against Madrid.

It would actually be quite a lol if Roma won a Champions League title the year after Totti retired.

Also I’ll probably be in Rome on the day of the final, so...

I do want Roma to win, but having them join Milan and Inter in the trolling brigade about winning the CL when Juve can't pull it off...

It'll be a Roma/Madrid final, Roma will go up 5-0 and then Madrid will get 6 legitimate penalty calls after the 85th minute that Big Ron will score.

I'm seriously not trying to be a prick with this response, but there are legions of sports writers publishing previews of the matchups yesterday and today.

They play a 4-3-3, though they played with a three man backline against Barcelona since they needed to score goals. The biggest mismatch I see is that Dzeko is loving Big and has plenty of Premier League experience. Manolas and Fazio are both pretty fast but not faster than Salah and Firmino, in my opinion. If Klopp has done his homework he'll know that Roma has lots of players that are prone to meltdowns (Nainggolan, De Rossi, etc) so aggravating them will probably be a good mental strategy.

Another one to watch is Cengiz Under, Roma's wildcard, he's a tricky winger with an accurate cross. Alisson is, in my opinion, one of the best keepers in Europe at the moment.

Also this; you could talk about it for hours and bore everyone to death, luckily that is what the sporting press is for. Roma are on a bit of a roll lately, but they have definite long stretches of being loving poo poo (they lost to Milan :v: ).
