and one of the micro optimizations you can do is to exceed the hurry cost of the current project by one row of minerals so the next thing can be hurried without the first row hurry penalty or something along those lines

yeah i had the same thing happen to me as well only i got doubly owned as i was building a colony pod but had insufficient pop to produce it so then i lost minerals to re-tooling lol also just sent the save onto improb lobster
