I couldn't play god of war on Saturday because it was 20 degrees outside and that's too rare an opportunity to miss in Scotland, couldn't play Sunday because i had to go buy weed, couldnt play monday because that's 5 a side night, couldn't play yesterday because my mate left his weed at mine and we ended up paying dota, can't play tonight because its my grandpas birthday and half the folk in this thread seem to have finished it. Goddammit i just want to smash!

I think there are maybe ten licensed tracks on it I like. The original music from Burnout 1-3 is fine enough and while I like a lot of the classical tracks they don't really get me pumped about driving 200mph and smashing my rivals off the road. Though showtime crash mode to Moonlight Sonata could be pretty fun.

I've been working through my backlog to try to stop myself from spending money on God of War this month even though I really want to, and I've been playing Tomb Raider. I had forgotten how insanely fun it was. I remember not really agreeing people with it about the combat being more fun than Uncharted's, but with some hindsight I'm really having more fun shooting dudes in this than I did in any of the Uncharted games. it's a shame I missed Rise on sale last week because even though I hear it's not amazing I wouldn't mind steamrolling it and ignoring collectibles just to see what kind of crazy-rear end spectacle they come up with. Edit: I also beat Resident Evil 7 which I thought was really good too. It's the only thing besides Wipeout that made me wish I had VR because apparently I want to die early. As far as I know the term became popularized with WH40k: Dawn of War and indicated when two units fighting each other would go into a synchronized kill sequence. Nowadays I think it just means any pre-scripted, uninterruptible kill animation.
