I no-poo poo played Soul Calibur II (GC) with my wife earlier this evening. Once or twice a year she gets drunk enough )and not sleepy enough) that she wants to play video games and she always falls back on Soul Calibur II. She plays a mean Xianghua. Mean enough at least for me who doesn't remember much about this game!

Digital Devil Saga 2 and Splatoon 2. I have just reached the EGG Laboratory, i like the new mantra grid more than the more linear one in DDS1, but the environments and dungeons havent been as cool and unique as the original. I'm hoping at some point we got outside the Dome and things get weird/wild.

I tried out Battletech and it crashes sometimes during loads and you need to save often cause I learned that the hard way, the games turns take a bunch of time too... But the feeling of making a robot explode by ordering a merc to fire all their weapons at once is definitely a goomba stomp feeling, Something about the sound design and the way the weapons fire out staggered one by one is really cool to me.

Big robots.

The combat in final fantasy 15 is really loving bad, Cindy is really hot, the car is both cool to let Ignis drive, but sucks to drive yourself, the music is great, graphics are great, I love the crew and overall it’s pretty good so far, 3 hours in.

The only times I thought the 15 combat was bad was during a particular boss in the back 1/3 of the game, and any time the camera would get caught up in bushy areas. Otherwise zipping around everywhere felt awesome to me. Hopefully you’ll get more comfortable with it as you go.
