Honest Jimmy Milner got penalized for something minor and this went unpunished. Shame on UEFA.

I’m still surprised they didn’t have a clause to prevent this

Chelsea tried that with Atletico over Courtois when they faced each in the semi-finals and, in a rare fit of rationality, UEFA deemed it unenforceable.

It seems very weird to not be, very confident? I know recent history has served up a few, but the overall number of 3 goal first leg aggregate leads thrown away, has to be a really low percentage.

I'm reasonably confident, but with a game this big I think it's understandable to have a little bit of fear.

I think we'll score, I could see it being 1-2 like the City game.

It's because Liverpool are facing Roma on their turf, who managed to overcome a 3 goal difference, and are not unlikely to be scoring more than 3 goals a game.

Strootman is out too, so this should be an interesting game to say the least. I do hope that Liverpool get a goal or two early though so I don't have to worry about suffering a massive hearters tonight.

Liverpool told fans to take the buses to the stadium and, in any event, not to walk. Seems pretty drastic to me, but if it helps avoid crowd trouble, I’m glad the club is taking that step.
