 Convoy (1/2) Not actually a nice game.  VOTEZ I expect videos to continue to be slow going for a little while, I've got a busier schedule and jesus christ there are so many roguelites. But I will continue to slowly wade through this vast ocean. Choices this time: Rush Rover Rush Rover is a 2D top-down shooter game. I wonder if its even practicable at his point of convoy running around with two big guns with required clear line of sight on your "road mothership" Its role seems rather similar to typical space tactic games like "Homeworld" or "Space Wolves". At first you have this nice damage sponge and your lovely starting fleet. Later it seems you want some heavies (like this "road cruiser" from the new guy) to shield your MCV and some light escorts to harass the rest. Are there enough tools for the MCV to go only for precise alpha strikes and enemy debuff tools? Voting for Vintage Year.

The main problem is that all the shops and loot are randomized, so good luck getting to a point where you can make an actual tactical decision. Yeah, Convoy sounds great on paper but in practise the combat really feels like a letdown and like it's more attrition than anything else. I'm not sure how it could be improved, but the rest of the game seems okay in that it's like FTL and FTL was good.

I just had a 5 second career on someone else's ship last night in FTL, so I'm quite tempted to vote for that, but I've played that to death and Deep Sky Derelicts sounds fascinating.
