Adam Davidson had a fantastic comment on this exact scenario, here it is verbatim. This is from the Netflix Dirty Money episode about Trump:

quote:

Every deal I've looked at contains unbelievable ethical lapses and many of the warning signs of criminal activity. But sometimes I wonder if maybe his greatest fear is that he doesn't know what he's done. The way the Trump Organization worked is that there are just these people out in the world who knew they could make a connection between Trump and people with money to set up a deal. When you have these people out in the world, wandering around, cutting deals, you don't know what you've agreed to. But that is not a legal defense. There's a concept called Willful Blindness. You are guilty if you knowingly engage in an illegal act, or with somebody who has performed an illegal action. You're just as guilty if you are willfully blind. That doesn't mean you don't happen to know, it means you have actively structured your organization to stop yourself from finding out.

Yeah I agree with that. The main reason I still like that picture is because of the big huge glob of yellow "didn't vote," also the amount of people who are not able to vote. I like the really pulled out view. It is a bit simplistic. It is kind of shocking.

But yeah I'll look for the graph you are describing because it would be good to have.

Cali makes a lot of food.

I don't have details, but Midwest has a lot of wheat that feed animals?Animals (cows, pigs, chicken) are raised in all states.

Southen and above the southern make a lot of corn. Corn is a huge money crop because corn is used in making everything from tires to feeding animals, and candy corn syrup.

Yeah sorry I don't know more.

When you point out to someone that red states loving fail in every measurable metric you inevitably get some chud that tries to hit you with a "actually there are a lot of blacks in the south, racist :smuggo: " and then they leave you alone when you ask about all the red states in the midwest with zero black people living there.

The only metric blue states are worse at is crime but that's because there's no densely-populated metropolis in Oklahoma because nobody wants to loving live there. Also you're more likely to be murdered in Texas than states with the death penalty.

I honestly am thinking about this. What kind of news did he get while locked up? Did he get any? Did he hear about Trump being our president? I'm trying to imagine the shell shock of him seeing Trump, coming home to his family ripped apart over politics, Roseanne being back on the air and totally confused with the original character, etc etc. It would be like waking up to a whole new reality. A terrible reality where things are just so insane the world can't be right anymore. Imagine all of that, and then having been locked up for two years in a North Korean prison.

I'm saying that this person will need to be put on suicide watch. He didn't kill himself in a cell, but this reality might just make him do it.
