I'm hoping that's shown off in glorious town-wide fashion. That event only triggers once you go in either the pub (for the guys) or Emily's house (for the girls), so outside increasing friendship with Gus and playing the arcade games it's not seriously restrictive either.

The thing with Pierre selling fish is that Pierre actually adds products to his stock if you sell enough of one thing directly to him. I got him to stock blueberries my first summer pretty quickly.

The train just has a random chance of dropping stuff. It's very finicky and never really worth it since you mostly get stuff like wood and coal. I always thought mushroom trees were done by another night occurrence that happens in fall but no, it just happens sometimes.

Slime Rancher  Here's the last bit of Slime Rancher before the LP goes into hiatus. It will be back once a video's worth of new content has been added to the game. We got some drat good fun with the unlikeliest of people, and then a good example of modern games being able to improve themselves post-release.

the mochi update is the thing that made me confident that a slime rancher 2 would be really drat good, because it adds such a unique little minigame using the mechanics already there and shows how much creativity they have room to show off.

I look forward to the automation update that's coming up next, whenever that is. Something to reduce the amount of grind in your ranch. Apparently the silo update also increased the amount Mochi pays out for quicksilver plorts, too. Edit: I gave Tumblr a search and there are a total four fanarts of Mochi Miles, but one of them did have her hugging Bea so I guess you were right on that one. I had always intended to get this game, but watching the LP meant that I was talking to my friend about slimes and she stealth bought it for me, so I think you can take credit for that. I'm still playing through the 'main story', such as it is, but my next plan is to make Kitty Ranch, and make Tabby largos out of every single other kind of slime.

Mochi's stuff is better than Ogden's stuff because it's timed. While you can easily spend entire in-game days in the Wild looking for Kookadoba's, with Mochi you can do both tracks, get 150-200 plorts in 5 minutes easy and have the rest of the day to do whatever you want. The slow field is probably the most powerful special you get. At a chokepoint and in a line the slimes are slowed down long enough that their electricity wears off and you can shoot them again. The second track is definitely easier than the first, since the charge stations are easier to get to and you get like, twice as much time as on the first track. I too am awaiting the Automation update. And the B0b update. Because there better be one

So in the Slimepedia entry for the Quicksilver slime, it mentions how Mochi doesn't sell the quicksilver plorts though the normal channels, and nobody knows who buys them or why. So it's my personal theory that nobody is buying them, she's paying you out of her own pocket and lying about it and this whole thing was just a ruse to give her an excuse to hang out with Beatrix for a while.

My computer is fighting me on posting the image of it (or I'm just inept at putting pictures on this forum, who the gently caress knows at this point I'm tired), but thanks to whichever commentator (sorry I forgot your name!) for mentioning clam cakes in that one Slime Rancher video. Got my sister to make them and we had that and potatoes for like, three weeks. It was pretty great.  I hope when/if there's a Bob update, you get the option to buy a giant chicken statue. Or maybe a chicken head decoration pod for the slimes.
