Well as an 'american' it looks to be a disgustingly accurate artistic portrayal of almost everything wrong with the country. Also if you look at it literally, the main character is a dude who kills a bunch of helpless people and dances. Personally it's just something that ends up sitting in the back of my mind- there's no way I could escape thinking about it.
