My reading about Sadr is that hes actually a pretty OK candidate as far as Iraqi independence from foreign influence is concerned. With any luck he'll hedge back some of the influence Iran has been exerting over the Shia population and maybe, somehow keep the entire country from literally fragmenting. I doubt it though.
