Nudity has been ok on steam since like... I think mass effect had a couple scenes? They just don't want to sell straight up porn anymore it seems. I imagine paypal started yelling at someone at valve.

Yeah, as much as I hate these anime porn games, there's a legitimate market of dog-cock lovers for it. The asset flips and other literal scams that affect Valve directly are what I'd rather see them spend time and effort on.

It can't just be nudity, because Conan Exiles has full nudity and it's pretty clear it does since it's right in the character creation part of the game (choose your own endowment!). I know nothing about the games getting the notices, but sounds like it's more about the sexual content other than nudity?

It seems like Valve is thinking, "Any game designed with graphic sex as the main focus is forbidden." That would make sense for games like Mass Effect and The Witcher, since the point of those isn't to jerk it raw to sweet alien/monster sexin'. As for Ladykiller, it's possible they're still hitting more visible devs, first. Huniepop seems like it would be the most obvious target given their...size, since they're big enough that even non-gamers might have heard of them. I doubt it's going to last, it's too spontaneous. There are two theories right now as to why only certain games are being targeted and not others for the exact same content: 1) Someone or some people is/are carpet bombing reports on specific games. This idea comes from a reddit thread on the matter where someone linked a banned user in one game's steam forum saying "They'll get all the anime porn taken down, just wait". 2) Random laws in random states and a whole lot of nothing concrete. Doubt Valve will comment, but the games being taken down have been up for years - in some cases - and claim to have been cleared by VALVe step by step. It ultimately doesn't matter because Blizzard's cock-up over Overwatch porn some years ago proved you can't win a fight against internet smut.
