I know this is meant to be a breather arc but I like it much better than the supposed main arcs. Feels like the manga really shines when it's focused on these human moments rather than the usual shounen action fare

I wonder if it's intentional. Hori loves his name puns. The WSJ Japan staff told the guy sound the Viz translation it's supposed to be La Brava but it could be both technically- one literal intention, then also the romanized version.

That couldn't have ended better. Eri finally having a good day and revealing why Deku needed to get that rope so badly. Bakugau actually looking like he was having fun on the Ninja Warrior course combined with "winning" over the downer students. Gentle having a possible second chance is really nice and effectively being saved by Deku. Shinso getting a cameo. Also a page of Class B's hottest sci-fi/fantasy/drama/comedy event of the season. Her outfit has a hearts pattern, we had a flashback in which Gentle explicitly came up with Lovelover's name from part of her actual name that means "love" (Ai), her power is the power of love and this is the manga with a guy named LockRock/RockLock/Locklock. I mean, La Brava is an awesome name for like, a wrestling-themed heroine or villainess, but it never suited her at all.
