As someone that hasn’t played Pokémon since gen 4, I think it looks awesome and I’m actually excited about playing a Pokémon game again for once. EDIT: I’m glad they’re still making a classic core game too.

Okay, someone else can make the thread for that game while we wait for Gen 8! Though really, they could've just left us out without anything for 2 years, so having what's looking like a pretty neat game in six months is okay in my book.

the textures in this game look very nice, but i think the art style is a step backwards to gen 6, i liked the proportions in gen 7 being closer to the official art

I think it'll be fun for kids and people who like Go, but I'm not that interested personally. But that's ok, that's why Game Freak yelled "simmer down you nerds, you're getting something in 2019". I can live with that. Lots of spin offs I'm not into. I was really upset when I thought it was Gen 8, but it's whatever now. I hope co-op and following Pokemon make it into Gen 8 though. That seems cool.
