Weird how you don't hear the left clamoring for civil liberty when it doesn't fit their narrative of "I know how to live your life better than you." smug bullshit. As for states rights, they don't get to override federal laws. There was a war fought over this, partly because certain traitor states thought it was alright to send slave hunters up to northern states and capture free people. I don't see that as an unreasonable position or close to what she said 23 years ago. Feinstein has said she supports the right of people to own a weapon for hunting or self-defense, and she has owned a weapon for self defense.
