This is from Isekai Death Game. Which is hot garbage that I wouldn't recommend anyone to read really, but sometimes the jokes land. Or maybe I just find it funny because of all the isekai stuff I've seen in the past few months...

Koe no katachi

Manga is finished (I'm always looking for stories that are complete), and it's hard to do it justice with a couple images. It's got a good sense of humor sometimes, but it's kind of a difficult story about a mostly deaf girl, her classmates, and how hard it is to grow up and relate to people without most of the usual "festival chapter" "beach chapter" blah blah poo poo. It's not an easy read, it's kind of sad, and maybe melodramatic, but it has an honest take on interesting characters and has some really beautifully done scenes.

If you like to cry on your own terms sometimes, this is a good read.

As a deaf person, I absolutely adore Koe no katachi (released as A Silent Voice in English). It's so good.

Like A Butterfly

A Korean webcomic about a 70-year-old grandfather who decides to take up ballet. Amid the backlash from his own family, he joins a studio and befriends a (somewhat begrudging) young male dancer who teaches him the ropes.

It's completed in the original Korean, but the translation is ongoing at mangarock: https://mangarock.com/manga/mrs-serie-100055961

Speaking of isekai
Dungeon Nursery - I'm a bit hesitant to post this one since the concept is 'isekai summoner that can only summon baby monsters' but with what's out right now it sticks firmly in "comedy" territory and it's pretty great.

Following up to say that Dungeon Nursery is still good. And the MC's "cheat" is still laser focused on countering his own isekai hypercompetence.

The translation schedule makes me worry it'll never get finished though. If it does someone should definitely post in here because it's SO good. All the peripheral characters seem to be well characterized without needing some monologue flashback for each of them too.

I love that the granddaughter has a crush like a total dork.

Are there more slice of life style manhwa out there goons can recommend? The ones I've seen posted to sites are either thinly veiled porn or chuuni powerguy shounen whatever.
