Ugh I was so busy being sad about the wait between episodes I almost forgot that trash pile is judging next ep.

How did I forget that was happening this season? UGH.

let's veer into - who have been the worst guest judges in the show's history? to have jeffrey moran on more than once was a choice. miles last week was a big fat void. i think meghan trainor had by far the worst outfit to ever be on the show. tacky!

legit the only positive thing I have to say about her is that at least she isn't wearing a loving onesie

You can tear my floral onesie from my cold dead hands. Lena Dunham can still tongue kiss lampreys tho for real. God drat, i forgot how loving bad Jeffrey Moran was. His being 'brand spokesperson' or whatever made all his comments feel a terrible combination of really calculated Branding™®© fuckery mixed with actively influencing to how the episode would go down. It completely went against the, whatever you want to call it, mission statement of drag, and was the first time i remember feeling actively gross about a guest judge for sure. I guess I've never taken the time to really think about why i didn't like him but he just reeked of corporate smarm and marketability in a way that was really off putting. And i mean does Lucian count as a guest judge because... Hoo boy. At least he wasn't actively bad on the show for the most part but golly ![]() I'm sure Lena Dunham will be worse. Me and the dude I'm low key hooking up with/watching this season with were calmly cuddling through the episode but both tensed up and groaned with disgust as soon as she came on which reads to me as a positive omen.

Apparently the live results for Miss Congeniality are visible to the public on the VH1 website with some tinkering Expect Cracker or Blair to take it. I’m... meh on Cracker considering she’ll probably be one of the girls who will do very well post-Drag Race. I’d rather the money go to someone with a less established fanbase.

I'd rather it go to the one of the most congenial queens and Cracker has been p bitchy at times. Miss Fan Fave indeed.

The Miss C contest is currently a dead heat between Cracker and Monét and despite being a huge Cracker fan I hope Monét takes it ![]()
|

Cracker had like, one or two sweet moments in the first few eps, but her weird fixation on tearing down Aquaria has seemed pretty sour. honestly thought Asia would do better for Miss C; she's been the whole group's drag mom in the last few eps

Yeah, Asia would be the best Miss C but I can't remember if top 4 can take it. A winner definitely can't. I'd vote for Monet or Blair if not her. But it'll prob end up going to Vanessa or Cracker lmao. And ngl I would be totally here for her to be the first Miss C to get the title despite being the season's first out. Like just for the ridiculousness of it lmfao

It let me vote in Australia? I voted Asia due to her combination of quick-witted, cutting commentary, alongside a genuine (increasingly rare in today's society) level of emotional maturity and empathy. I would make the following changes if it were magically Gelf's Drag Race: 1) Make permanent the occasional experiments they do with guesting in former queens as coaches of challenges they are considered to have excelled at. I really thought we were going to get some sort of former queens twist this season when so many were on set for the first runway. Alyssa did a great job in her cameo; very much reminded of why I loved her, but not making it entirely about her! I didn't feel the Bianca the same way though - she should have been connected to the entire challenge, including being a panel member giving out the Snatch Game set ups. I don't blame anyone for that though, in her position I too would be all about the cocaine and $$$! 2) PanPan as permanent judge. 3) PanPan to perform every episode! DRT SPOILER Having PanPan kick the finale off with Bananarama made everything that came after appear amateur in comparison! Gelf fucked around with this message at 08:17 on May 31, 2018 |
![]() |
|
Yeah, I 100% expected every episode to be coached by a former Ru Girl after it was announced Alyssa would be doing choreo for a challenge. I mean ffs it's season 10, stuff it to the brim with former queens!

I was in Amsterdam last weekend, and while I was wandering around I saw a guy yelling "VAAAANJIE!!! VAAAANJIE!!!" After a few seconds, a big group about fifty meters away started yelling "VAAAAANJIEEEEE" and he looked relieved and then ran over to them. From context I'm pretty sure they'd settled on that as their contact call if one of them got lost. ![]()

I love how somehow this show created a new queer mating call/general signal. Drag is a magical meme factory.esperterra posted:Yeah, Asia would be the best Miss C but I can't remember if top 4 can take it. A winner definitely can't. I don't think there are any rules on who can and can't take it — even a winner should theoretically be able to take it — but it's usually treated by the fans as a sort of consolation prize for their fav who didn't make it all the way.
