it's impressive actually that windows 8 didn't turn more people and businesses away from windows and towards ... who am I kidding? Linux in 2012 was still a shitshow and windows 7 was and probably is perfectly serviceable.

I even made new accounts too. Nothing is working

It has no problem downloading updates of apps I already have installed so it's not a connection issue

i am not yet convinced it was a good idea, and have yet to be presented with use case where having a real unix system wouldn't be better.

although the guy who made Classic Shell eventually got tired of trying to keep up with microsofts bullshit and dropped development of it, it's only a matter of time before it stops working entirely because of the windows 10 rolling feature upgrades. So if you're not already using it, it's probably better just learning to cope with what you have.

unlink your microsoft account from your computer, go into apps and reset the store, maybe do a restart, then sign into the store again and do not link your account with your computer
