A big problem with living in NB (i did for 15 years) is you get locked into a seriously impoverished economy, one with massive downward mobility. People always say its such a nice place to raise kids, as someone there as a teenager and young adult it blows. Nothing to do but drink or get high, part-time minimum wage jobs are all that's available. Everyone I knew either got out or got poorer year to year, with a few exceptions. It really features the Appalachian learned helplessness, pretty depressing, so few young people. Don't get locked into an economy heading for collapse.

Virtual Russian posted:Don't get locked into an economy heading for collapse. We're definitely not locked in and have some mobility, we already moved from Vancouver and Montreal because we were getting turbo-hosed there for different reasons. At least it's nice for us now, we're walking distance from everything we need including my work, close to my parents for extra help raising our kid, stuff like that. And apparently all the drugs we could want!

But praise tax relief for people making $45-85k, 0-30 bucks a pay cheque will really fix my books alongside $1 per 10 litres of gas you purchase.

You should try living next to Quebec. quote:Even Costco, the king of low prices, no longer sells beer at the minimum price like it used to. This 28-pack of Coors Light, for example, details $ 28.99, which is $ 1.02 more than the minimum price of $ 27.98. However, for larger quantities of 48 and 60 containers, Costco still sells at (almost) minimum price. I think that disgusting poo poo is $2.15 a can at lcbo. You can get 12 bottles of goose island ipa for $20 in quebec, it's $28 at the beer store.
