Keep in mind, I think I read that in Japan exotic dancers are sort of like senators over here in the US, they dictate policy and in general just do upkeep and infrastructural decision making and whatnot. So it's not like a bad thing to say that, because it's a higher office over there, it's a cultural thing. That said I do hope exotic dancers here in the US become part of the overall governing process sooner than later.

Admittedly, for the big WoW-esque wacky little side quests portion there I caught up on a lot of Mega 64 podcasts and aftershows, which was an enjoyable thing to me. But that chuffah aside, to me it was one of the strongest RPGs in a long time. Well done characters and dialogue, a fun feel running things there with the trials and whatnot. A lot of the charm to it that something like Mass Effect 2 had, even though by different people. Terrific game. First impression on Anthem is it looks boring, doesn't sound like it'll have much of what Dragon Age Inquisition had going for it to me.

Anthem is going to be a loving trainwreck. They're still showing pre-renders and concept art instead of actual gameplay for something that's supposed to be out inside 8-10 months. The class demo is the same basic map from the original showcase, and it's hilariously brief and cherry-picked. I also love the low-key "we can change the lore any time we like because THE ANTHEM CHANGES EVERYTHING AT RANDOM".
