On the plus side, though, took a really pretty photo.

If you have a dissociative disorder of any kind, I cannot in good conscience recommend this film. If you don't get the film, you didn't get The Shining either.

It was loving phenomenal and I'm permanently hosed up.

totally gonna watch this now.

It is very flashy. I don't advise anyone actually watch it head on. just throw it on a second screen and observe it in your peripheral vision.
Resolume is real cool if you like music and drugs or maybe you don't even have to like drugs, I dunno.

probably not trippy in the way your'e looking for but sawbones is neat cause it's about a doctor teaching her not--doctor husband justin mcelroy about lots of old silly and dumb and outdated medical techniques and some that we still perform today despite being weird as heck (like medical maggots or ant sutures or medical leeches or honey)

Okay, last day on the script. Way behind but I can see the light at the end of the tired cliche. Gonna set up at the local makerspace with my pile of thumb-velveted note cards and a lappy with no wireless card. Here's hoping.

Also, it turned out to be the best tom kha soup I've ever had. I put a bit of red cabbage in it because I was making a coleslaw for the next day at the same time, which resulted in a fun pale pink soup. Not quite pepto-bismol, but on the way there.

on one hand it's cool cause hey now I'm equal to the rest of the level cap people, on the other hand not as cool cause I don't get any more skill points to put into my skills

right now I'm on the story content where I'm trying to get in touch with this crazy powerful inventor dude named Luke. once I'm done with this area I get to move on to the next place, New York City which is located in Pandemonium which is the name of the interdimensional floating rock that is the remains of earth after it blew up and it keeps collecting insanely powerful nigh-immortal beings called apostles and I'm trying to hunt down a specific apostle because she's a jerk who has been causing all the bad things in the plot solely so that everything would be bad, nothing would be good, and with enough sacrifices then earth can be restored

hi all!

the yob could use some new threads. don't you think? our "jokes that are funny" thread is v good but honestly I get a bit concerned that people are posting things there that should actually be a thread. so my thought is, just make some threads and don't fret too much about whether they're going to fly. I will try to follow my own advice, but if you're so inclined I encourage you to do the same.

Ugh, still writing. It's gonna be an all night binge, and I start back at my day job tomorrow bright and early. Plus my dad's car broke down so he's somewhere up North and I can't do poo poo to help him because he doesn't know how to use the smartphone we forced him to carry and my mother is freaking out so bad she called my roommate when I was unreachable for ten seconds.

It's ten fifteen. I'll come up for air again at midnight, see if I can bike home by two and get a couple desperate hours of sleep.

Do not let your kids be creative professionals, if they demonstrate talent for it early drop them on their head strategically or make them afraid of paint or something.

do you tend to focus on mysteries from relatively recent history, or do you delve back further?

for relatively recent history, the taman shud case is kinda interesting. it's so much like the premise of a spy thriller it makes you wonder if aspects of it were staged just to gently caress with people's heads. however a dude actually died, so either way I don't think it can be called a "hoax."

Ohh the nature of Teotihuacan. It was a very successful, probably multiethnic city-state that collapsed before the rise of the Aztecs.

We have no idea what it's real name was, who settled it, what language they spoke, or why it collapsed in a probable civil war.

Their religion probably revolved around mummies in special bundles.
