Griffin also had a tailored list for each character, these seem to be a bit more generally useful while being less powerful. Some of the missing ones can be chalked up to being higher level items, but Railsplitter is notably absent. D&D adventure guides are always kind of starting points, meant for the DM to customize at will. Hell, TAZ itself was following Lost Mine of Phandelver for like 2 episodes before they started going off the rails. I doubt anything in there is meant to be hard canon.

Here’s something else fun from the character sheets. Every character presented is level 2, and level 2 Clerics only have level 1 spell slots. However, Merle has been given a single level 2 spell slot and a single level 2 spell to cast with it. I’ll leave it to you to guess which one.
