i think part of it is that each successive disaster master just got more and more subtle/messed up abilities as nk got better at making them if splashmaster had the ability to give people depression and turn them into stuff hed use it all the time lmao

Quakemaster's whole thing seems to be draining hope. Demanding a payment that is unsustainable (and cracking down hard when people eventually fail to meet it) seems like as decent a way to accomplish that as any.

He is "Quake"master, so making a centralized earthquake throughout the building? We don't know why Quakemaster is collecting, what "the games" are and why it would cut a second off whatever it is he's doing. No doubt these and more will be answered once we return to Cucumber.

91 people couldn't pay the racket money this day. They won one seconds in some games. We don't know what these games are. Possibly gambling because of the card suit theme, but who knows, it might be futbol or minesweeper. They get 90 seconds of something. 91-1=90, so it's apparently one second per person that can't pay, adjusted by games result. The next few pages should tell us what.

Realized that there hadn't been any updates posted, so I checked the latest - had said July 13, but instead of a new page, there's a notice stating that there won't be any more updates for a few weeks due to other projects. We'll stay tuned, then.
