Does the steam client have an easy to access button that just shows a list of releases in chronological order and if not why not? It feels like I always have to scroll down to featured, then new releases, then click to see more, then it shows me popular new releases, then I click for see all and then sometimes I have to sort by release date from there. I feel like the way I browse I'd miss out on fewer actual interesting things if it wasn't such a pain to just see what's new.

The crappiest thing about this (and there's a LOT of crap) is that I recognize some of those models from the Unity Asset Store. They couldn't even be bothered to make original lovely anime characters. I wouldn't be surprised if the entire project is just a bunch of templated movement / camera controllers slapped on purchased/stolen assets.

In the end, I am fine with steam having games with violence and nudity. What I want steam to crack down on is the flood of poo poo that is so low effort that it makes Bad Rats look like a triumph of the modern age. At the very least, cordon off the obvious trash games to their own specific section of the store. Put visual novels and anime filth in their own section as well. There’s no reason those should be sharing the same space as actual games from developers who put at least a little effort into their work.
