it almost literally is that; my ex "had" to go to one when she twisted her ankle in a hidden animal burrow in some median area of a company parking lot go to the place, lobby full of people that pretty obviously work in fabrication and construction and the like they start the whole "care" process off with a nice battery of questions about what exactly happened and drug use and drug tests, etc, very obviously building a case for the employer if you decide to feel litigant in the future i think people get suckered into it because it feels like you have to go, though i'm pretty sure your employer can't make you go there, and the possibility of free/cheap treatment

by the way the sfpd is famous for not doing required patrols the supervisors and voters have both passed laws requiring them to do foot patrols and community policing and they just don't bother if you see a sfpd officer outside of their vehicle they're either waiting for coffeee/food, arresting someone or there's a special event going on
