I can't decide if it's efficient or creepy but Discord just added a "Games" tab that lets you see what all the people you're friends with are playing, in whatever game client they use, and show you relevant news of those games https://twitter.com/pcgamer/status/1009863544337289216 Looks like this in practice, but with more english

I never gave Discord access to show what I'm playing. That function always seemed a little intrusive... I guess it's okay if you really are struggling for a conversational topic.

Vampyr is the exact sort of middle budget game people say doesn't exist anymore. I bet it sold like crap. Seems okay so far but unfortunately I discovered it's entirely possible to beat the game without killing any of your social links so now I'm obliged to. Some of them really deserve it though.

I can't sleep cuz I accidentally dozed off on the couch earlier, I can't play Horizon Zero Dawn cuz my fiancee is watching a movie, and the only game on my phone is TerraGenesis, which is kinda in an overnight lull while I wait for mines to make money. At least tomorrow is Friday and I probably won't have to do much at work.

Some thoughts on The Crew 2 beta: Holy poo poo one of the disciplines is stunt flying and it's bringing back memories of Pilot Wings mixed with Tony Hawk, I think this has gotten me 90% of the way to buying this because holy hell. Also the first thing they tell you is "Time to drift this plane," they are really speaking my language. Also another thing showing they've watched a bunch of Fast and Furious movies is how often they mention "family", I don't know how much story is actually going to be in this but the idea of a bunch of multi-discipline vehicle masters traveling across the country to compete with each other could have some potential They do mention "social media" a lot though. Also lol at this deformed-rear end map of the US  Also there is loot and one of the characters literally says "We only got green loot before but that's a rare!" which I don't know whether that detracts from everything or if I should admire them for leaning into the absurdity
