Something to note with Titan's Revenge at 20 is it makes your auto attacks ignore any kind of armor modification statuses. So it will even ignore armor downs like colossal smash or tyrande's passive. It's still the best pick at 20 most of the time anyways.

Wait are you saying that if Cassia takes that talent she won't benefit from armor reduction from her teammates? :negative:

That is correct. The talent makes it so you ignore any and all changes to armor regardless of its a positive or negative armor bonuses. It also works the same for other people with similar talents like Zuljin's Q talent at 16

Then you probably weren't the right person to make the first engage, stay mounted and wait for someone appropriate to initiate

Yeah and then more than half the time I get to watch my team dick around and never contest anything (unless someone dies, and then people will run 1 by 1 into the enemy.)

Also fun is capturing a boss only to watch my team use the boss push to capture another camp in a lane that is less crucial than the one the boss is currently pushing. Feels GREAT man.

That guys advice is good but also remember that in this meta you are, holistically, like a weird push kinda guy; ie it falls on you to unfuck lanes and force lane pressure on them, you should end games with higher siege and xp contrib. It's weird because he wasn't really this way when he was released but that's how you play him right now

Ragnaros got relegated to Lava Janitor because he was so overpoweringly good at everything on release. Q build was one of the strongest things in the game because your damage and healing were just so high that you could solo just about anyone (and even fight off 1v3 ganks if the enemy team grouped consistently enough to keep proccing Hand of Ragnaros).

Being able to choose between specialist replacing waveclear and teamfight changing AOE stun based on your team comps and map is one of Rag's greatest strengths.

This is also absolutely useless in low ranks and QM because "LOL wuts strategy?".

Can someone clear this up for me? I know about the general soak range with your body, but with regards to abilities that give XP, is it that any ability, regardless of range, that killing blows a minion will still give XP? I saw Kala mention something to that effect on his stream while playing Azmo and chucking his ball into the other lane. This applies to Aba mines then? Does this apply to Rag's lava wave?

Polio Vax Scene

Yes, Yes, yes. As long as you or one of your summons/abilities gets a killing blow, you'll get the xp.
It's a common misconception that abathur's locusts, zagara's mutalisk, etc will give xp as long as they are near the minions that die. This is false. The locust/muta needs to get the killing blow.

I think the only person who breaks the exp rule is abathur who's hat also soaks exp just by being near dying minions.

Yup I actually did think locusts could soak. Man I guess I just had no idea how Aba worked. Incredible.

I guess that can be explained because technically you are sort of joining with that minion so the damage it does is also your damage or something?

Holy poo poo I had no idea. I guess this is how I wound up with 2x Abathur's xp contribution that one game. When we were down two levels I (Zag) was hustling back and forth working two lanes and also got a big solo push with some camps. He wasn't good and just rode on one or two heroes all game. I didn't understand how that it was possible that I outgained him as badly as I did.

We lost, but caught up to them in XP and would have won if Abathur had been a contributing member of the team fights post lvl 16 or so.

You’re underestimating how dumb of some teammates can be. I swear to God like one in five teams I’m on understands “don’t contest while down a tier, just delay them while we soak or split push”.

Lost my first ARAM today because apparently my job as Muradin is to dive 1v5 into the fuckpile of enemy heroes that are 3 levels up on us and have an obnoxious comp (Auriel + Hammer, ugh) and magically turn the game around for us. So sayeth the Rehgar who took Bloodlust and the Greymane who kept tunneling on their backline and got us into our level deficit in the first place (a strategy that might've actually worked if we had Ancestral, naturally).

Turns out that when you're forced to constantly teamfight Crash Lighting is insanely overpowered. It's honestly pretty hideously powerful on any map with an extended teamfight objective.

TBH I wish they would make ARAM permanent like League did so I can just play it endlessly. Maybe create a few more variants like the minerals one so you have a pared-down version of the main mode's map/objective variety.

League has ARAM as a separate mode like Vs AI/Unranked/Ranked, etc.

I enjoy ARAM but you have to have people who are into it and not being total idiots on your team. Tt's also better after a beer.
