Weekend Misc Auto Racing Calendar: Le Mans Hangover Edition! We've got: Indycar, MX-5 Cup, and PWC at Road America Blancpain and GT4 European Series at Misano World Circuit VLN round 3 at the Nurburgring and the most boring motorsport at the most boring track in the world All times EDT  I don't follow BTCC, DTM, or WTCR live but those are also all running this weekend oh also Pike's Peak which apparently has a stream this year, which I might watch

They are, but Corvettes and China aren't a new thing. The Vettes (non-factory) in the GT1 World Championship were heavily backed by Chinese money.

I didn't actually catch the run myself, but the commentators on the stream were saying afterward that it seemed like Dumas was being fairly conservative in terms of not using all the available road and whatnot. Then again, a VW rep quoted on Motorsport.com is saying that he was "all out." Looking forward to the in-car video either way.
