They just added a fun new mode and a poo poo ton of Konami themed characters like ones from Metal Gear, Castlevania, Silent Hill and more. The online seems kinda dead but it’s totally worth it for local MP.

Sadly enough TWEWY would have been pretty good on the Wii U thanks to the gamepad.

It's part of Konami's Apology Tour so they put a lot of effort into it. I haven't played it in a little while but they fixed most of the bugs (although the 60FPS upgrade doesn't apply to campaign) and added a bunch of stuff. It's a blast to play and if you have some friends to play it with that's even better.

Bomberman sold pretty well on Switch. I don’t even care if we get new games, I just want Metal Gear and Castlevania compilations on Switch.

I did a bit of poking around just now and it doesn't sound too promising for its future.

I picked bomberman up for like 20 bucks after they fixed it up, and yeah its pretty solid now. I dont care about the single player or the online but since you can pretty much always find used copies for cheap its totally worth it for occasional multiplayer. Its one of those once-in-a-while games like mario party, or monopoly or any other board game Edit: actually its been a while, gonna play some bomberman tomorrow

It’s what you’d expect if you ever played any classic Bomberman campaign. I believe you can coop it and that would be more fun. There’s some cute amusing cutscenes of Bomberman and his annoying siblings. The negative buzz was mostly do to its price point but I think it’s worth it now due to all the content stuff added via free patches. The single player in Bomberman has some sort of F2P energy system or "credits" or whatever they they want you to spend real money on. Also I think the multiplayer AI is actually just random inputs being pumped into an avatar, because if every human player dies the AI doesn't try to fight each other at all, you just watch them randomly walk around until overtime kills one of them.

I feel like they did a really good job with the charms in Hollow Kniight. It's the type of thing I'd probably either just forget about or get stuck in a rut using the same thing all the time in most games, but I feel like prepping for a boss is a bit of a strategic gameplay element of it's own. The only one I've basically left on in perpetuity is grubsong because it basically makes zero sense not to use it in every scenario. It's super dumb that the compass is a charm though. Just a complete waste of a notch for a basic gameplay function. Also, I didn't use fragile strength until pretty much the end of the game, but holy lol that poo poo is op.
