Re: Cheetahs, they were kept as pets very successfully throughout the centuries. They do have proportionately very small heads, because everything about them is adapted to Gotta Go Fast, and their head is like fifty percent nostril so they can suck oxygen down efficiently. Cats also tend to have fairly agile paws and use them to manipulate things, but cheetahs have lost this to have super awesome running feet instead. This really limits the size of prey they can take down. They specialize in small gazelles, after all. A human is.... kind of on the big side for them. Maybe if they were desperately hungry, but generally, no, we're too big for them to see us as easy prey. The real issue with keeping cheetahs in captivity is that they are anxious and high strung and can go neurotic, which is why you see zoos doing things like giving them dog friends. https://youtu.be/wF5uzcnuzlw

Hello Cute Thread. I would like you to meet Naomi. I met her this past Saturday. She is my uncle's doggo, a 3yo Finnish Lapphund. She is super sweet, super cute, super playful and she super stole my heart. We played fetch with pine cones and it was the best time I've had in a long-rear end time.

There's a parrot in the 2nd video in that series. https://youtu.be/x9-NAyi-yU4 Edit: now that I think about it, Hans would probably just run up to me by the 2nd peakaboo and demand attention. That's what he did when I had a house with a sunroom addition that basically turned the supports into pillars. My cats think I'm awesome. It's a good feeling.
