I think in the current market €100m for Ronaldo isn’t insane given we all know he is a complete fitness freak who won the genetic lottery so injuries not withstanding he could probably start the majority of games for 2-3 years and still dick on the minnows.

I think his wages would be a bigger problem.

Ron cant go to Juventus if only because the Liga thread relies to heavily on Ronaldo alpha fuccbois for most of the non-Barca content.

Hes not as explosive out of the drible as he was, but the human body keeps building muscle until your late thirties, so imagine a even stronger ronaldo. If he embraces the ibrahimovic role and stays injury free he can still be a world class striker at 39.

I don't see why Salah can't continue to score a ton of goals. He's not suddenly going to get slower and it's not like he made the most of limited chances. He missed a lot of sitters for us too.

I think he's just the perfect attacker for the way we play.

Would be nice getting some quality back up for him and Mane though.

if theres one thing that makes me happy in football (aside from england winning on penalties) its journeyman keepers picking up a big final paycheck under the strict guideline of "don't break your arms in case the other three do"

Kid's blasting everything in sight with that new-fangled musket.

You'd think some kid from the youth team could do a job in the unlikely event a third/fourth keeper is needed without taking up a squad registration space but whatever, journeymen are fun I suppose.

I think they want to send the most promising youth keeper (Joel Pereira) on loan this season so that he can actually play, so makes sense to get someone in who doesn't care about having zero minutes.

Lee Grant is a good lad and I hope he does well. He was excellent for us in 16/17 when Butland was injured and by all accounts he's a really positive presence in the dressing room. I wouldn't have minded him staying but I can't really begrudge him a move to man u at this stage of his career.

He's a genetic lottery winner, so probably 3? Maybe 4 with good management and no injuries?

Cristiano Ronaldo is fueled by the hatred of haters, so he will play as long as someone has contempt for him. The minute he turns into a respected elder that everyone likes is the day when his body will fall magically apart and he retires.

If Giggs can hack it in the PL at 39/40, I reckon Ronaldo could go to most leagues in the world and still batter half the teams for another 6 years.
