Been doin my typical 'welp it's offseason, time to rewatch all the seasons in a random order' and I picked 6, but that's not important, what's important is how loving sorely I miss Mathu Anderson. Jesus christ the wigs alone, not to mention Ru's face. The fuckin polish. The fuckin variety! No shade to Raven and Delta, they're doing the best they can and Raven has adapted well enough to painting Ru, but ... Delta, girl. I love you but you got to go. Ru's wigs were awful all season and this hate crime needs to stop. I must have just grown accustomed to it after the rough patch that was S9 and the marked improvement from that in AS3. But after goin back to look at a Mathu beat and wig ... sigh

afaik it may still not be known? some people thought maybe he's sick b/c Willam, who is also close with Mathu, alluded to an older gay man he visits who is in some kind of hospics care, when talkin about how gay artists and people in general often get thrown away or forgotten once they need someone to take care of them. Some people say he and Ru fought before S9 started, since Raven and Delta spoke about how short notice their taking on the job was. He deleted all of his social media, too, so  I respect Mathu too much to dig any deeper to see if that's him tbh, I just hope he's well. I really miss him showing up to direct the music video challenges tho and the radiance he brought to Ru's looks every week. show's felt kinda empty without that delightful man.

The rumor I had heard was that Mathu demanded a huge raise, which Ru and WOW flat out refused, so he left the show, and that's why Raven and Delta were called in last second to take over.

I saw Trinity Taylor last night and she was so awesome!! On top of giving an amazing show she stopped to talk about supporting your local queens, and then gave away all of her tip money to the local girls who performed before her. What a classy lady

Trinity Taylor somehow managed to transcend a mostly middling season and become one of my favourite Ru Girls hands down, I'm glad she got as big as she did and am chompin at the bit for her to appear on an All-Stars season. To think I completely wrote her off pre season lmao
