All the 1.0 ships are making the jump into 2.0 space.

Only some of the physical models themselves won't be and those are just the ones with alternate colorways that were included in the various Aces packs ie. Rebel Aces, Imperial Aces/Veterans, Guns for Hire.

This also probably includes the X-Wing in the Reb Transport, the x1 in the Raider, the TIEs in the rear end Carrier and the Scyk in the Croc Cruiser.

That's right, this is what I read. So basically the "alternate" paint jobs won't be re-released. Thanks.

It seems like, at least for 2.0 wave 1, they're switching to the Empire Strikes Back blue color scheme for most TIEs. So the ships from the raider and the gozanti will be the mainstream and the old grey paint jobs from 1.0 might eventually be hard to find. Altho there's so many of those, that's kind of hard to believe

Won a store champ today with 4 Zealots and AP-5. My dice were real swing-y. I either had to use all 4 crack shots to barely win or I'd end the game with maybe 1 spent and an easy victory.

Really enjoying the list and I think it's better than 5x Rookies now for sure.

I really wouldn't use that Wedge setup, since you're effectively paying nine points for Advanced Proton Torps (6 for the torps, +2 for the torp slot since you're not using Renegade Refit, and +1 for the EPT (since you're not using Renegade Refit)). To make matters worse, Wedge doesn't have any way of getting a target lock and a focus by himself, and while he could get one from Benthic Two Tubes... you're putting a lot of points and effort into trying to get a singular shot, and I just don't think it's worth the effort.

Speaking for myself and experience from when I last used Saw, the great thing about him and Hera is that he can just sit in place and pour out shots, and you're actually rewarded for piling on stress by doing so. It doesn't really fly like anything else, and can lead to some nasty surprises for an opponent.

Get him stressed right off the bat. That way his ability and Ezra automatically kick in.
Plus PTL on Norra stresses her out so Saw works on her too.

With Herra, you can just park him do really mess things up for your opponent.

Of course, this is all theory and I hope it works for me tomorrow.

That’s a fair critique , I could hit him with the refit , keep outmaneuver and throw bb8 on him and with the spare points, possibly upgrade to saw with rage and insp recruit?

With Wedge, Outmaneuver can be fun but it's really not necessary-with his ability, the opponent's dice aren't typically the issue. Predator or PTL would be a much better choice to increase his offensive output-PtL especially, since you can get re-rolls from Saw if he's close enough.

As to Saw, Rage isn't a good EPT for him since it requires an action to use, and Saw is only very rarely going to get an action if you're flying him with Hera (Which you should be, always). Wired would be a much better choice, since it gives more re-rolls and plays well with Saw's 'Always stressed' state.

Played in a store championship yesterday, with this:

Lothal Rebel (35)
Fire-Control System (2)
Autoblaster Turret (2)
Hera Syndulla (1)
Saw Gerrera (1)
Tactical Jammer (1)

Dash Rendar (36)
Lone Wolf (2)
Heavy Laser Cannon (7)
Proton Rockets (3)
Rey (2)
Rigged Cargo Chute (1)
Smuggling Compartment (0)
Outrider (5)

Total: 98

View in Yet Another Squad Builder

I went 1-3, and drew a bye for one round. I think it's got potential, although it took me a couple of games to understand how to fly it, and to remember to actually use all the upgrades. Highlight was killing Boba Fett in one round, due to a nice combination of HLC shooting and using Saw to put 5 crits on him.

Besides the Firespray was introduced into a meta where you had 8 ship TIE swarms and attempts at arc dodging for the Imps, and the Rebs had the start of Han Supremacy and X-Wings which had natively good attack. The Firespray was basically just a large-base X-wing that could take HLCs so it never really stood out for me, especially as it always attracted attention

It was only in Imperial because Scum and Villainy didn't exist yet and they were really hammering home all the movie ships at the start, as they should have.

A ship is considered to be 'evading' when it has an evade token. It is worded like it is (presumably) to more easily avoid localization issues while maintaining the same meaning.

2.0 has really consolidated a lot of text.

Evading = has one or more evade tokens
Focused = has one or more focus tokens
Reinforced = has one or more reinforce tokens
Damaged = has one or more damage cards
Shielded = has one or more shields

And so on.

It saves so much space, and presumably is easier to localize, than the long phrase "if you have one or more evade tokens"

Is there anything that says "If you try to do an action and cannot, do another"? Because otherwise, there's no reason to believe you would be able to try something else. That was explicitly stated to be allowed in the cases of failed boost/barrel roll actions for 1.0 IIRC.
