There's something weirdly corpse-y about the shading or skin and eye textures for the character models in that game, and combined with the 400% exaggerated facial features it is creeping me all the way out

The point system for using skills kinda reminds me of Action Points from later editions of DnD, or Drama Dice from 7th Sea (does anyone even remember 7th Sea?). Man I love me some Euro-jank. if it hadn't turned out that konami forced it early and booted everyone because they're a terrible company I'd absolutely believe kojima explicitly designed the game to be LP poison. In the three LP's I've tried to watch of it I make it about 5 episodes in before it just because impossible to watch, and after seeing the story is crazier than a shithouse rat I can't imagine it gets any more tolerable

The main gimmick is that it's actually three playthroughs put together: "Big Boss" where things are mostly played stealthy, "Venom Snake" where he goes in hot and explosive, and "Vapor Snake" where he... smokes a cigar until nighttime, fights bears, or somehow manages to complete a mission while riding the pre-mission helicopter. If that seems bloated, Chip is very very good at editing, either fastforwarding or cutting to a different playthrough whenever one runs into some downtime. Tapes are mostly on separate videos, too, so there's no dead commentary time. He's also specifically ignoring the side quests that aren't actually interesting. Sorry if I'm late or falling for some weak 4chan tier bait but I have a game of telephone going on. Friend was at work so all that he has is discord- apparently some people in one of the chatrooms mentioned Matt having some kind of twitter meltdown and asked me to look and see for myself what was going on. Went to his twitter and his account is now locked/protected whatever the term is. Did something actually happen or was it just speculation?

Oh yeah, dental infections are no joke. I had a molar split in half(pebble in rice = party all night) and within the half day it took to get to the dentist to remove the tooth the open air to the jawbone had spread infection to the bone itself, I was REALLY lucky and got a lot of antibiotics immediately because infection right there is just just a hop skip and a jump away from your brain or other sensitive and important tissues. If it spread from his teeth into the bone it can get real gnarly. Hope he's doing okay.
