Yeah I won't post his name but he was part of this Young Americans for Liberty chapter that mutated into some kind of alt-right/alt-lite freakshow. Some of the people were Nazis, others not. This guy seemed to be a big Milo fan and didn't quite realize that it wasn't a joke. So you get this situation where a gay Asian guy wearing a Pride flag is standing next to a dude with RWDS (Right-Wing Death Squad) printed on his helmet while repping a podcast for a guy who advocates a race war. These "rallies" in Portland seem to still have that hybridization of the movement to an extent, but otherwise I don't see this as much generally.

I'm fascinated by hyper-local events like that where you see these different people come together in this weird mish-mash. But my theory (which I just came up with like 5 seconds ago) is that 2017 was a process of Trumpism digesting and absorbing all this stuff, and some of it didn't digest and was spat back out.

Also, speaking of Trumpism, Billy Roper and the alt-right... Billy Roper really hates Weev, and if I remember right, Weev chose Roper as one of his early targets to bully out of the movement. Probably a wise idea on Weev's part if true.

There was also a discussion the other day at MPC between Weev and Pleasureman (the admin over there) about Mike Enoch, the TRS podcaster who was recently dismissed from the civil lawsuit resulting from UTR.
