I was a bit disapponted tbh I thought Garm had shown up last chapter but I guess he was still incognito, a month's wait and it doesn't feel like we've progressed since last month tbh. Nice Gudric moment though.

just gave volume ten a read since i hadn't realized it was out garm comes across as having a pretty serious death wish. and not in a "glorious death against a worthy opponent" kind of thing, but a "when will i finally find someone able to kill me" kind of way

I think taking an archeological perspective to telling a story about history still counts and I definitely enjoy that series as well. In general Hoshino Yukinobu is an author where I like all of his works; both his historical works and his science fiction originals and adaptations.

Okay then, I'll have to check out Yukinobu's other works some time. And how about another series I read (which updated recently), Zero - The Man of Creation? It also talks about history, though it's more fantastical than Munakata.
