E: Some of them are clickable too and lead to youtube vids, which is useful for the hidden tiers that aren't always obvious from just a pin on a map.

The rifts also help if anyone happens to land at the statue at the same time and things get hairy.

I got mine in 50v50 a couple days ago. Also I noticed they went back to the first circle being announced when both busses hit the halfway mark, instead of the way more awkward surprise circle after everyone's dropped thing.

I was successful in jumping off the bus right away but flying across the line to the other side, at the end of the opposing team bus route. Nobody on my side there since it was enemy territory and nobody on the other side was there since people don't want to wait that long. Had a decent chunk of the map to explore alone and luckily came across one.

I got my 2 sniper kills in 50v50. The first guy, I knocked with a snipe. Killed him with an AR, and got credit. Second guy.... I'm not sure if i got the knock or not... Could have sworn I didn't, but if I did, it was with an AR. Killed him with a sniper, got 2 out of 2.

I swear i'm bugged for Sniper kills. Doesn't matter if I down them with the sniper or finish them off with the sniper. I never get credit. Noticed it last season when one of my dailies was get a sniper kill. Problem is persisting across 2 separate pcs. Really hope I'm not bugged and there was just some bizarro reason for it

I tend to peg the sniper shots more consistently with the hunting rifle. Especially in 50v50. My problem is most of the time I only down them and someone on that side walls up and revives.

Is there a guide to build fights anywhere? I basically don't know what I'm doing if I meet a guy in an open area and he starts building. What's even my goal in a build fight? To get high ground above all else?

To get high ground above all else? Goal in build fight is to kill opponent. If you just build for the sake of it someone will just kill you by shooting your lovely tower down. There’s no clear cut rule here as building is by far the most demanding part of the game.

sypher is a bit of a dickhead imo, but he has some decent building guides https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H2gs7ajwW5o the biggest thing is learning how to edit and reset well. sometimes it's actually more advantageous to go down and drop people's whole tower or bring them into a trap or hit em with fall damage than getting height.

Made it into the final 3 in solo today. I use stealth and managed to catch myself between the other final 2. They were battling it out but one started to move to where I thought he would see me so I engaged him. Had him dead to rights, odd man out RPGs me from behind. Did it again just now, sniper battle and poorly thought out cover with #3 left me with 30 health and had already used my medpak. Noticed the next circle was inside the storm, so thought it was a glitch. Got killed by the storm. Its a good thing I'm well groomed by Dark Souls.

Yeah, I think moving the last circle to outside the current circle seems to be SOP. I guess it helps keep players on their toes so they don't just turtle up and keep the same game running forever.

The idea is that you’ll have to move to that location WITH the circle so you can’t just sit in a 1x1 or a bush or whatever.

I jumped at the end of the bus route the other day and the only other person was AFK or something. I got the golf cart I was hoping would spawn all the way out there and came to rescue them. Instead I found them swinging their pickaxe and turning randomly every few seconds. Some sort of AFK bot script. They got punted off the cliffs using the golf cart. I got full credit for that elimination.

How gigantic of a dick move is it to group up with console players while on PC? I feel like that's putting them at a pretty huge disadvantage if they normally only get queued with console players. Or is it normally cross-platform anyway?

Every squad you meet should have at least one PS4 and one pc player. So it's not that unfair. I play on PS4 and don't mind it. I believe it's the same, I play on Switch and have friends playing on xbox. Not sure if it includes PC players in the mix or only the two consoles mixed parties.
