kinda love how corporatized these titles are in this Japanese crime fantasy

That's because actual yakuza are corporate as gently caress. They don't punch you in real life, you just get legal and money hosed into the ground.

Yeah, fair, I won't pretend I know anything about how it's really run, but that tracks with the little I've heard

I wonder how much property damage Kiryu has incurred in this bar given that he pretty much hangs out in it in every. Single. loving. Game. And beats the poo poo out of probably thirty or so men at the very least in it every. Single. loving. Game.

I had Domino's yesterday for dinner! It was one of the few places that had power at that time.

The Yakuza series is nothing if not big, beefy men reaffirming their brotherhood with one another in the most masculine of fashions.

So totally loving gay.

Fun fact, Call of Duty is actually very popular with the bara audience of Japan because it's all about hyper masculine men being gruff and strong and sticking their necks out for each other.

kazuma kiryu im sure has a lot of characterization over the series' rich history, but to me is the most salient is that he's a man who just loves hitting people with poo poo he just picks right off the ground
