The worst modern media thing is settling down for your dinner in the living room and you turn on the TV and the only thing on is L&O:SVU and it's all child rape all of the time and despite what they lie, it's based on a real case and you're sitting there with your macaroni box and thinking the world is a world of poo poo.

The heat waves in Scandinavia are freaking me out, even as a person that lives in a place where those temperatures are normal. Because it shows that, as the climate gets hotter, there isnt going to be anywhere to loving hide from the heat. I've always assumed that as the climate gets hotter, the far north will get relatively warmer but won't get actually hot. As in, it'll get up into the upper 60s or low 70s, maximum. But nope: 90 degrees is going to be the bare minimum, and it'll only get hotter as you move towards the equator. Summertime sucks. I dont care if thats a goony goon thing to say. Heat and humidity sucks. Mosquitos and hornets suck. Severe thunderstorm warnings once a week suck. Autumn is so much loving better, but sadly we're not going to have any more autumns in a few more years, because of climate change.

Birds are delicious and second only to bovines in the delicious meat hierarchy. Unpopular opinion: Seafood is way better than land meat. I could live my entire life without eating land animals, but I would lose my mind if shrimp and scallops suddenly went extinct.

We would be better off if Hollywood just disappeared. The studios, the executives, the producers, the directors, the actors and actresses, all just gone. They dont have to die or anything. I'd be happy if they all just stopped what they're doing and dissolved the entire Hollywood film business and they all got new jobs. No more Hollywood. What would we miss, if that happened? Oh noes, we wont get anymore remakes, reboots, long-belated sequels to decades-old movies, and endless trash. Shut the gently caress up, Meryl Streep.

La La Land was a really boring movie and The songs were ultra forgettable. This probably isn't that unpopular an opinion but I usually like musicals so I was pretty disappointed. If you somehow make an Emma Stone movie unwatchable you done hosed up

I've never seen a cis woman complain about having to perform "emotional labor" that wasn't just her basically saying "Ugh, my boyfriend/husband opened up to me and got emotional.
