If we’re going as far back as Nathan For You I’ll throw in a mention for You’re The Worst which I kinda forget about these days because season 4 was a step down but 1-3 were SO GOOD and 5 isn’t airing until next year and that makes me sad

Everyone just watch You’re The Worst already okay

I loved the first season, but as season 2 went on it just fell too much in love with its boring side characters and their uninteresting stories.

Season 4 had the episode where Gretchen and Lindsay take those teens hostage in the abandoned mall, which was one of the most horrifying/funny things I'd seen in a long time.

Yeah, while I think its objectively true that Santa Clarita Diet IS gruesome and gory there's something about the way they handle that it that never made it feel "gross" to me.

Of course I'm a horror fan and I would also recommend Ash vs the Evil Dead which is decidedly one of the "grossest" shows on TV. So maybe my standards are off.

I think its just that SCD has a very surreal feeling to it with the picturesque perfect weather and manicured lawns suburban world juxtaposing the horrific zombie poo poo. It never quite feels real. On the flip side as over the top as Ash vs the Evil Dead is it really takes great pride in getting down and dirty and making you FEEL the grossness.

Look, it's a fact, i don't support him, i'm not a fan or a red piller. But that's how the law works. The burden of proof lies on the accuser and the prosecution. She's given nothing in the way of evidence, and if it did happen that sucks for her. But he's entitled to a fair trail if so. She hasn't even named him publicly, he's been given a witch hunt for a trial, people will always back her because of the nature of her accusations. But people will defend his right to due process too.

Like i said if he did it he deserves anything coming his way. I'm sure it's not over.

I don't want to get into a fight with you about this, but it is about the law, she accused him of some heinous poo poo that is serious prison time if true. I'll say it again for the cheap seats. if he did it let him burn, but if she has proof, then give it to someone who will do something about it. Her boyfriend has seen it apparently... audio and video. Ruin him then all the way.

This is real easy to say but ignores the fact that sexual assault and domestic abuse victims aren't served by our current justice system. In the UK 1 in 14 rape trials end in a guilty verdict and no matter how big or small people think false accusations are a problem I'm sure everyone would agree that's still leaving a lot of rapists walking free.

I'm well aware, i spent 14 years living with being abused and my mother was sexually abused and beaten. It's not new to me, my point is moot because people who agree, agree and people who don't, don't. My family moved to the other side of the world to get away from it.

People want to see abusers burn and for good reason, but you can't trial them by twitter and expect things to work out for the better over all. Taking someones toys isn't justice. The system doesn't work for everyone and it's heartbreaking seeing someone get away with it. I'm only talking about this case. She says she has proof... so do something with it.

There was a guy over here in Ireland last week who got a 5 year sentence with the final 3 years suspended for raping a girl at a party.

The judge performed some insane mental gymnastics and basically blamed society because porn and binge drinking exist so it's hardly the guys fault.

If you want to see a lovely justice system then you need look no further than Ireland and our life sentence that is on average ......... 12 years.

Hey dudes and dudettes, what are some of the best comedy shows to come out in the past year or two? I usually like rapid-fire stuff like Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt or Rick and Morty, but I also like some slower stuff if it has a cool story around it like The Good Place.

The Games is some of the most hilarious poo poo still. It's old but it's Australian so you probably haven't seen it if you aren't also Australian, rewatched it recently as one of the lead actors died. Some of it might be inscrutably local but I think most of it is political and office humour that's pretty universal.

Yes, The Games is great: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=17NKos-7GCo (edit: damnit, video is cut short and the full length one with the punchline has been removed, have this instead: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ca5n198EHA0 )

Castle Rock is weird but not for the right reasons.

It feels like a basic "guy comes back to hometown after years and has to deal with issues from the past" drama but it has the odd bit of King lore thrown in and there's an overarching mystery.

You could remove the King stuff and it would be the exact same show. It's well made and acted, i suppose.
