I like the way Jun is so calm about the whole thing. At some point, he realized he liked Tomo and just went with the flow. I get the impression he just decided to let her know he likes her but that realization wasn't a big deal to himself.

I don't understand why Tomo is running from the topic though. Isn't this what she's been wanting all along? My only guess is the panel where she says, "Do I really want this awesome friendship-relationship to change?" or something like that. Now, she can't handle the possibility of the change and doesn't know what to do, so she runs.

Yeah, I think the "is that what I want" is sort of the crux here. She was doubting whether she actually wanted to date him, only to have realize at the exact same time that he does like her after all. It's just very bad timing.
