the concerns aren't unfounded -- it's not like there's a lack of a history of soc dem betrayal -- but there's simply no other cards to play. even if aoc eventually flips succ dem, the act of helping her get elected wasn't necessarily a 'bad play', because you're playing the odds. you win some, you lose some. I wouldn't rule out a flip in the future either, she's not fully integrated into the political machine. but there's zero point throwing a tantrum now, because you can't prevent it.
