Jetamo posted:I honestly think the Nightclub is the best building they've added to multiplayer. Yeah, whenever GTA VI comes out I hope that if they do this kind of thing again for online that the businesses are a combination of this and the biker club. Basically you buy a legitimate business that churns out a little bit of pocket money on a hourly basis that then acts as a hub for running a couple of related illegal businesses. Like a taxi firm could be a courier for drugs, a car showroom could be like Import/Export.

So what’s the deal with filling up stock in the night club? There are seven types of business and five technicians. Is it possible to fill up those five and then switch 2 if the t[chs to the other businesses to completely fill all the warehouse floors? Currently not producing weed or money because those are the slowest I think. Has anyone found the time needed to completely fill with upgraded equipment? edit: kinda disregard this, i was only reading the HOME screen with graphs and xx/360 total. On the sales screen it shows the amounts of each, like x/100 for cash, y/60 for coke, etc that add up to the 360 Fart.Bleed.Repeat. fucked around with this message at 16:15 on Jul 28, 2018 |

You will be raided at some point once you're over 40% full. I don't know if the business upgrades affect how quickly the club technician acquires those goods, though.

FuturePastNow posted:Correct. You will be raided at some point once you're over 40% full. from what I can tell the club is not affected by the businesses at all except to see if they exist. Upgrades appear to do nothing for the club, and the stock generation for the club is fixed at certain intervals depending on the specific good. For example Sporting Goods always takes X time and Weed always takes Y time per unit.

When going for criminal mastermind on the doomsday stuff, can anyone in the crew do other missions and free roam shenanigans without screwing things up? I'm helping get a buddy some cash, but we've got pretty different schedules so he might want to run crates and such before we party up.

You can do anything you want Except die
|
# ? Jul 31, 2018 00:55 |

Dying only matters when you're in the setups I or the finales. The freeroam prep missions you can do whatever. No way for a dude in a hydra to randomly end your streak.

Also sometimes it doesn't matter what you do, the game just decides you don't get anything. I did all the doomsday stuff recently, like the past two days. Same four people every prep, every setup, every finale. At some point during the first heist, me and one of my friends were informed that we would lose progress for Loyalty and All In Order. Went through with it because we couldn't find a reason why, and we didn't end up getting the bonus at the end of the third finale.

The Stafford and Blimp are available now. As is a new DJ set for your club, Tale of Us, and the new radio station, LSUR! Also, i'm sure some of you are going to make the Stafford into something tasteful and elegant. I, on the other hand... I went a different route Quite a strange variety of cars so far.

Does the Stafford really only have the livery as a visual customisation, apart from the standard windows and wheels? The Tale Of Us mission is horrible, you basically have to hit 4 tiny moving targets that you don’t snap to while also having to drive a car at the same time, it’s basically down to luck. I'm glad the new game mode has created opportunities for scientific research in the spirit of older days of the game, such as Malakai/Alpha/Dvoraksa/Smuglio/myself testing the question "How many Buzzards can we land in the square part of the alley just to the south of the Vespucci Canals club?" last night. Aardmania and Wee Bairns would be proud. The answer is at least 7. Somebody from PS4 post fun screenshots tia.

Another new mechanic that isn't neccesarily broken, it's just weird and will lead to heartbreak sometime im sure. I think its the same as other garages, but with only 1 parking spot, it's a little more noticeable In the Nightclub service entrance garage, there's a spot for 1 car. This is an actual save spot, not like the bunker's temporary spot. It shows up in calls to the Mechanic, the CEO assistant, etc 1. NC parking spot is empty. Take your kuruma from your apartment garage and drive it into the nightclub, this now becomes the kuruma's new home. No problem 2. NC parking spot is empty. Grab a random car from the street and drive it into the club. Same as storing any new car, this becomes its new home. No problem 3. Kuruma is parked in NC spot. Take your T20 from your CEO garage and drive it to the club. It pops a warning that your stored car(Kuruma) will be moved to another garage. The Kuruma gets moved to the CEO garage, and the T20 is now stored in the nightclub. Not a problem unless your OCD kicks in, becuase now your kuruma is in the CEO garage and not your apartment 4. Kuruma parked in the NC. Grab a random car from the street and drive it into the NC. Again it pops a warning, but this time instead of saying it will move the car(kuruma) to a new garage, it will just be *GONE*. Since there's no home for the random npc car, there's no garage to swap the kuruma, and it won't just pick a random spot 5. Same as 3, except this time take a bike from your MC garage and park it at the NC. Since it can't swap your kuruma into the MC garage, it's going to warn you again that the saved kuruma will be lost! Case 3 was loving with me because I bought the stretch Hummer and put it there, brought in something else and it got moved but I had no idea where. After 2 or 3 more swaps is when I figured how it was choosing where to move it to, and now I had to do some car shuffling to put cars back to their 'correct' garage. It reminds me of the old days of CDs when I would change discs and put the one i just took out into the new ones case, and then change CDs again and put that into the next new disc case. It's all good until you want to hear something again and then you have to backtrack a few cases to get things right again I ran into 4 and 5 last night and almost hit the YES button out of habit, that would suck to just lose a car like that So be careful if you're using that service entrance spot as a regular garage. If some of your cars appear to be randomly moving garages this might be why

Also, if you care about popularity in the club, the promotion missions kinda suck for that- only half a bar per mission is weak. If you're idling AFK anyway to build stock, go to the dance floor, press E to dance and then rubberband your stick there. Looks like this will get you up to 50% Now that there's a new DJ, changing your resident should also replenish your bar to 100%. Cost of the new one is like $100k but switching back to solomon is only 10k. Eats a bit of your profits, but if you just need it high to get the good drinks then this should be a quick lil boost

Can't do all the setups in advance. That got me, it's not just the main jobs.

I've been reading that going afk for too long is resulting in raids on the night club warehouse. I don't know if that's with the person being retired from mc and ceo. Has anyone else experienced a raid while retired from all businesses and being afk? I was hoping to grind the bejesus out of the warehouses afk.

So, I wonder if having Tale Of Us as your DJ changes which celebrities come to the club or just the dialogue. Edit: It turns out that either changing your club name or DJs might actually change the celebs you get visiting. I just had the mission to steal the police van with the celebrity in it, previously it was the epsilon guy, but this time it was a faded horror film starlet. The game takes an extra 10% of your sale after the fact as an extra little "gently caress you" cherry on top of your low pay ice cream.

Rad-daddio posted:I've been reading that going afk for too long is resulting in raids on the night club warehouse. I don't know if that's with the person being retired from mc and ceo. I read a little on the timers and algorithms for these. Basically when a warehouse(crates, nightclub, bunker, etc) gets X amount of stock, a timer starts The X amount used to be 50%, but it may be as low as 20 % now in MC businesses Each warehouse has an independent timer The timer is approx 3 hours- some may be less or more The timer is supposed to tick when you are idle in freeroam. This is when you are *not* engaged in business activities(supplies, sales, IE), challenges, jobs, races, etc. Doesnt matter if you are registered as CEO or MC. Its also cumulative so if you're at 2:30 and jump sessions, you pick back up at 2:31 and not reset to 0:00 I don't think the raids are supposed to trigger if you're not a boss, and they're not supposed to trigger if youre reg'd as the other type- if you're a CEO you should not get raided on MC stuff, if youre an MC then you shouldnt get raided on CEO stuff. If youre not reg'd as either but the timers and quantity are passed, then once you register, in theory it should be able to trigger the raid Timer supposed to reset to 0:00 after your quantity drops below X, so after a sale; or after you're raided, it should reset the timer for that warehouse This is how it's SUPPOSED to work with a little variation on the timers and amounts. I've been doing a lot of idle time in the club, but not registered(in order to skip on business fees) and have not had a raid while idling, so that part seems accurate. Full MC warehouses that have been full for several hours of play time, full bunker, etc. all the conditions that say a raid should be imminent I did have one raid on coke. I was playing freeroam stuff and then reg'd as MC president, and a few minutes later I got the text that I was getting raided. Before this its been literally months since the last time i was raided
